Havent pulled an all nighter since I was 16....

So last night was Elijah and Mines Jack n Jill. It was mega fun til we realized we missed the last train to CT....and the next one wasnt til 5:30 in the morning. WOW....sitting in NYC on the cold concrete was fun, and people arguing was the worst. But Elijah and I didnt care as long as Riley was safe at home with grandma and we knew wed be home eventually. When there is no other option you really just gotta go with it. I felt bad for everyone, NO ONE wanted to be stuck there, and the situation wasnt ideal but it came and went and now were home. Safe and sound. Riley had so much fun with her grandma and auntie and uncle for the night. I wasnt happy about being without her til 6am but she was asleep for most of it so it was ok.
This is a short one but Im tired.

ps. we saw Chris Tucker last night. That was awesome. and Dinner was delish.

Woah, Im starting a blog.

So I mainly want this blog to be about being a mother and wife. As I will be married in 7 Days and I have been a mother since Dec 2007. This is my picture perfect life so far. I always wanted children and to be married. Ive been with Elijah for 7 years! So I know hes the one. Best father ever and I love him. My daughter (Riley) is 3 going on 30....haha. She is a riot! Absolutely amazing and pretty much my world! She says the funniest things and is so smart. I know every mother thinks their child is smart, I realize this, but she can spell countless words, can add, and already has sarcasm. ;-)
I got pregnant when I was 19, Had Riley at age 20. Of course not expected but the moment we found out we were excited. I didn't really care what sex we had first but part of me wanted a girl first. Elijah wanted a boy, but let me tell you, a daughter and father relationship is amazing to watch, and he wouldn't change it for the world. I love being a "young" mom. Hopefully I can be done having kids by 30.
When Riley was first born we lived in Old Saybrook, both Elijah and Mines home town. Amazing town but honestly we couldn't wait to leave. June 2008 we moved up to South Windsor CT to live with Elijah's mother and save some money. I then went to medical assisting school and had a blast. Met amazing people and it truly changed me. I graduated May 2009. Then Aug 2009 we were finally ready to move into our own place! We ventured to Stamford CT, far from friends and family but close to NYC which was important to Elijah as he wants to do more acting. My dad lives in fairfield county so it was nice after 22 years to be closer than 20 miles from him. I also found a nanny job that pays amazing, awesome family and easy! (not what I went to school for, but it pays the bills!) Stamford was nice. But we needed a bigger place. March 2010....we moved AGAIN!....haha Finally the perfect apartment in Norwalk CT. Riley gets her own room and its so homely. And we love the town.
I dont want to make this blog too long, but Elijah and I will be married in less than 7 days. A long time coming. 7 years is a long time. :-) Weve been through a lot and I cant wait. Riley cant wait either, as she cant wait to be the flower girl. Being a wife is important to me. Not that we dont already feel married but the day is going to be filled with fun, family, friends and love.

Alright I could go on and on but I need to save some things for future blogs. I hope y'all enjoy.
